The December 2012 Julep Maven box was full of bling! In this month’s box I received three amazing glittery nail polish colors. I went with the “It Girl” style profile again this month and was not disappointed. The colors were right up my alley and perfect for the holiday season.
Here’s what I got:
Vivien – gold glitter in a clear base. Contains both micro-glitter and larger hex glittery bits. Covers pretty well in two coats but would be best over white or black base coat.
Ivy – royal blue with tiny purple flecks of glitter. Beautiful opaque color in three coats. The color shifts with the light and looks mostly blue at one angle but purple in another angle.
Harper – light teal jelly base with lots of teal, golden and blue flecks of glitter. This formula was a little thick but covers well in only two coats.
DIY cabochon ring kit – coat the flat side of the clear cabochon with your favorite nail polish color then set it into the ring base, flat side down, instant bling!
plus, a little minty candy treat
This is by far my favorite Julep Maven box that I’ve gotten so far. Selecting these boxes online is tuff cause the colors never look that impressive. I’m really glad I chose this one though because the nail polish colors look so much better in person than I thought they would.
Did you get a December Maven box this year? What was your favorite shade?
