The first thing that caught my eye about September’s Ipsy was the metallic silver bag. It’s very cute with a square shape and silver studding. From feeling the outside, it didn’t feel like much was included but I am actually quite pleased with the contents.
What came in my September 2014 Ipsy:
Nourish Organic Moisturizing Cream Face Cleanser ($2.33) – 100% natural and certified organic cleanser containing aloe vera, cucumber and watercress. I enjoy a good face cleanser so I’m looking forward to trying this out with my Clarisonic.
Alterna Caviar CC Cream 10-in-1 Complete Correction ($8.50) – A leave in hair treatment that offers 10 different hair benefits in one product. Moisture, shine, smoothness, softness, UV protection, manageability, strength, anti-breakage, heat protection and light hold.
Crown Brush C476 Crease/Shadow Brush ($6.99) – I can always use more brushes! This one is nice and soft so it will get used very often.
Pacifica Natural Minerals Eyeliner in Gunmetal ($5) – A waterproof eyeliner pencil in a pretty metallic silver color. It’s pretty creamy and nicely pigmented. Not a color I’d use on a daily basis but nice for a special occasion.
Cailyn Art Touch Tinted Lip Gloss in Basic Instinct ($19) – I am in total love with this! It’s so pigmented and opaque on the lips, much like a liquid lipstick instead of a gloss. It has a super glossy finish and is not sticky at all. The color is the perfect pink nude color.
Overall I’m really excited about all of the products this month. The retail value of my bag came to $41.82 which is awesome since it only cost me $10. The Cailyn lip gloss alone was enough to make the bag totally worth it though!
