I’m really excited to finally be giving you a peek at what I got in my November 2014 Ipsy bag. The theme of this month was “Girl Meets Glitter” so it’s all about the bling!
I have to say they did pretty good this month. I’m glad to have the opportunity to try all of the products except maybe one. I’m not a fan of hairspray so I’ll probably pass that one along.
Here’s what came in my November 2014 Ipsy bag:
Temptu Highlighter in Pink Pearl ($2.75) – A teeny tiny vial of liquid highlighter with a pretty pearlescent finish with a slightly pink tint. A little goes a very long way so you only need a drop.
Elizabeth Mott You’re So Fine Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner in Glitterati ($17.99) – A jet black liquid liner with silver shimmery specks. Goes on so smooth and is really pigmented. This will be perfect for the holidays!
Be a Bombshell Eye Base in Submissive ($14) – A full size pot of a pretty bronze colored cream eyeshadow/eye base. This is pretty sheer on the eyelids but it can be built up a bit. It did crease on my though so I won’t be using it as a base without a primer.
Marc Anthony Oil of Morocco Argan Oil Hairspray ($1.53) – “Extra volume and flexible hold without stickiness or flaking.” I don’t use hairspray so this one will find a new home.
J Cat Wonder Lip Paint in Red Potion ($4.99) – A new lip product similar to the OCC Lip Tars. This formula is super runny and super pigmented. You’ll need to use a lip brush to get a nice even finish without making a holy mess. A tiny dot will do your entire lip area.
You can use a little for a light, semi-sheer look or use more for opaque coverage. This color looked a lot darker in the tube which scared me a bit as I’m not a vampy lip girl. But on the lips it’s a lighter reddish berry color.
Overall I really enjoyed this month’s bag. The retail value came to $41.26 which is awesome! I love that we got 3 full sized items and 2 sample sized.
Oh and how can I forget the cute bag this month!? It’s a silver glittery bag with bright pink trim. Good job this month Ipsy! Can’t wait to see what December brings.
