The new Hard Candy Single & Loving It eyeshadows ($3) come in a collection of 6 different color options. Each eyeshadow color choice is a combination of three different colors in a splatter design. They remind me a lot of the Stila Countless Color Pigments only smaller and much, much cheaper.
I picked up two shades at my local Walmart, Oink! and Sandy Beach. Oink! is a combination of light pink, cream and light tan. Sandy Beach is dark brown, bronze and beige colors.
These single eyeshadows are on the smaller size so trying to use one color in each single alone would be quite challenging. I use mine swirled together cause I can’t be bothered to try to get my brush in the individual colors.
When swirled together Oink! becomes a very light champagne shimmer color with a bit of glitter. I was hoping this would be more pink but it’s actually barely pink at all. On the eyelids it’s just a very light wash of neutral color.
Sandy Beach is beautiful when swirled together! I expected it to be a brown shade of some sort but it’s actually a really pretty bronze with a metallic finish. It is super pigmented and applies really nicely.
I’d have to say pass on the Oink! shade if you’re looking for something highly pigmented. It’s great for maybe a brow or inner corner highlight but doesn’t give much “bang” on the eyelids. But I’d highly recommend Sandy Beach, it’s superb!
