Essence Lipliners ($1.50 for 0.035 oz each) are bargain priced wooden lip liner pencils. I picked up three colors; Wish Me a Rose, In The Nude and Satin Mauve.
I wasn’t expecting much from these since they are so cheap. I figured they would be hard formula wise and a bear to apply.
I’m happy to report that these lip liners are awesome! They’re soft and creamy and easily apply to my lips without any pulling or dragging.
The pigmentation on these Essence liners is great as well. As you can see, you’ll easily get opaque coverage with the lip liner alone.
Satin Mauve has more of a glossy finish than the other two. In The Nude and Wish Me a Rose are both matte lip liners.

The Final Verdict:
I actually could not be happier with these Essence Lipliners. I think they are amazing quality for such a cheap price.
I will definitely be picking up more colors soon and recommend you check them out for yourself. They are so worth the look!
