Elf Studio BB Cream ($6) with broad spectrum SPF 20 contains anti-aging ingredients such as vitamin e, jojoba, aloe and cucumber that are supposed to hydrate and nourish the skin. I bought the color Fair but it comes in a total of 6 color options.
This bb cream comes in a convenient tube containing 1.06oz of product. I love that not only is it in a flexible, squeeze type tube but it also has a pump on the end. Two pumps is usually enough to cover my entire face.
This one gives me light, semi-sheer coverage that is a bit buildable. It evens out my skin nicely by covering redness and dark spots really well. Blemishes can still be lightly seen but that’s easily fixable with a little concealer.
The fair shade works really well on me without oxidizing. It blends seamlessly to give me a semi-dewi finish. I do like to finish it with a matte powder for a little extra coverage as well.
It feels nice and light but it doesn’t hold up completely on my oily skin. It doesn’t break down or look patchy as the day goes on but shine does come through even with a primer. It’s not terribly bad but I do need to blot and re-powder my face after about the midday point.
Overall I really like this Elf BB Cream and I think it will work well for me this summer. For the price it’s a really great option if you want light coverage with that dewy summer glow. I really love the compact packaging, just toss it in your bag and go!
