CoverGirl has revamped their Eye Enhancer eyeshadow packaging for Summer 2012. Gone are the ugly blue and clear packages with the slightly domed lids. Now we’ve got a more sleek dark gray and clear design. They are completely flat now which makes stacking them a whole lot easier. Yeah!
The new design was introduced with 4 new eyeshadow quads and 2 eyeshadow trios. I purchased the CoverGirl Eye Enhancers quad in Mirror, Mirror ($5.59). Mirror, Mirror is a really pretty teal green with three grey eyeshadows ranging from dark to light silver.
All four eyeshadow colors in this palette are shimmery shades. They are nicely pigmented and smooth too. I really like the teal shade, it gives the eyes a nice pop. The darkest grey shade is nice also. It has almost a lavender tone to it in certain light.
I wasn’t crazy about the other 3 new color combos in the CoverGirl Eye Enhancer quads. They each contained at least one funky color that I knew I would never use. Mirror, Mirror seemed like the only one I would make good use of. Have you seen these new CoverGirl Eye Enhancer quads and trios yet? If so, what did you think of the colors?
Available at select drugstores such as CVS, Rite Aid, and Walgreens.

Wow–this is actually quite stunning! Usually I don’t get super excited about drugstore shadows, but this palette is gorgeous. I LOVE the teal accent color and that pretty shimmery dark grey would be gorgeous as a quick wash of color with the teal as a liner on the bottom. I must definitely grab one of these!
