Colourpop recently released a whole line of pressed powder highlighters. You can either purchase the pan ($7) itself or get it in a plastic compact ($8) like I did.
There are a dozen different colors to choose from in the collection. I purchased Here Kitty Kitty to start. Here Kitty Kitty is a warm light beige color with just a hint of gold.
I like the simple plastic packaging. It’s small, thin and compact so I doesn’t take up too much space. The entire inside lid has a mirror and it has a magnetic closure.
The only packaging complaint I have is that the color is not marked anywhere on the compact. There is only a tiny round name sticker on the outside of the box.
I carefully took that off of the box and put it on the back of my compact. Without that, I’d never remember what color it is if I ever wanted to re-purchase it.
The formula is silky smooth and buttery. There is no powdery kick up, so very little waste.
It applies evenly to the face and blends out seamlessly. It gives my skin a beautiful glow that looks pretty natural. It could be built up though for a more blinding highlight if that is what you prefer.
I love that Here Kitty Kitty doesn’t contain any sparkles or shimmery bits in it. It does a good job at not accentuating texture either.
For only 8 bucks, you can’t beat the Colourpop pressed highlighters. You get a lot of product (0.23 oz) and bang for your buck!
