I don’t know why but I love a good neon pink nail polish for Spring and Summer. One of my all time faves is Finger Paints Warhol Wannabe, a neon pink cream. I came across this China Glaze Pink Voltage at Ulta the other day and had to have it!
Pink Voltage is different from Warhol Wannabe. It’s much lighter than WW and is a shimmer finish instead of a cream. And the shimmer is actually a light blue color.
I have to say that this was a pain in the butt to work with. It has a thin semi-sheer coverage that streaks pretty badly. I had a really hard time getting good even coverage, even with two coats.
I was also surprised that it has a satin finish which I’m not fond of. I decided to top it with a clear coat for a glossy finish though. The finished manicure looks pretty good overall.
What do you think of Pink Voltage?
