Burt’s Bees has recently come out with a Sheer Body Lotion Spray ($9.99) in three different scents. There’s Violet & Mango, Clementine & Calla Lily and Cucumber & Aloe. The plastic bottle is a nice generous size with a spray pump nozzle.
The application is fairly easy and clean. The lotion doesn’t come out in a nice mist though. It will spit and spurt at you in a random pattern so it’s not easy to get an even application without smoothing it out with your hands after you spray it.
But I do like that you don’t get a lot of overspray like you do with the metal can versions out in stores. Those are a nightmare with hardwood floors. The overspray gets me slipping and sliding all over the place with those ones.
Once on the skin it has a nice light texture. It’s not greasy at all and absorbs fairly quickly. I bought the Clementine & Calla Lily scent and it’s really nice. It just has a very light orange scent.
So far I’m really enjoying this body lotion spray. It’s freezing cold here in Western Pennsylvania but It’s been keeping my super dry skin soft and moisturized very well. The price is a little on the high side but it seems like it’s going to last me a fairly long time.
Have you tried the Burt’s Bees Sheer Body Lotion yet? Which scent sounds the most appealing to you?
