As I mentioned the other day in my Slow Dance lip gloss review, Bongo has a new line of beauty products out in Kmart stores. That gloss came in a standard tube with applicator wand but I also purchased one of the squeeze tube lip glosses to try – Tall, Dark and Handsome ($2.99). Let’s look at how they compare.
Tall, Dark and Handsome is a purple based pink with lots of glitter sparkles in it. Thankfully those glittery bits are not felt when you apply it to the lips. This gloss feels silky smooth and nice and light. It has a nice light vanilla scent to it too.
This shade give my lips a fair amount of pink color with a hint of lavender. When the light hits the sparkle, it gives your lips a bit of iridescence. The formula is a bit different than that of Slow Dance. It’s a bit thinner and not sticky either.
Overall this is a great lip gloss. It is nicely pigmented and keeps my lips soft and smooth. Of the two, I definitely prefer this squeeze tube version over the applicator one. It’s $1 cheaper and is not sticky at all.
For the price, I’d definitely pick up a few more. Will you be trying any of the new Bongo beauty products?
