Birchbox – September 2012

I received my September 2012 Birchbox last week and I’m pretty happy with the contents.  This month Birchbox is focusing on the beginning of the Fall season.  They put together a Fall lookbook for us with ten of their favorite fall beauty trends.  Included is a coupon code for Madewell for $25 off any purchase of $75 or more.

Let’s see what other goodies I got:

Color Club Nail Polish, “Put a Pin In It” – A custom color made exclusively for Birchbox.  I love it!  It’s a shimmery rose gold shade.

Dr Jart+ Water Fuse Beauty Balm – I’ve been dying to try this brand of BB cream so I can’t wait to test this out.  I’ve heard great things about the brand.

Boscia Purifying Cleansing Gel – A nice, generous sized sample!  I’ve also heard great things about the Boscia skincare line but have never tried any products.

LA Fresh Instant Body Soother – These seem a little weird to me.  They are natural peppermint body wet wipes to help soothe away stress and fatigue.  You’re supposed to massage areas that you feel are fatigued or tense, I’d rather just take a relaxing bath!

Twistband Hair Tie – I always love getting these!  I received a purple and white lace printed one.  Perfect, since purple is my favorite color!

Extra:

The Brush Guard – A set of three brush guards to slip on after you’ve cleaned your makeup brushes.  They help to shape your bristles as they dry.

Tristan Prettyman Digital Download – Download two of this artist’s songs for free here: tristanprettyman.com/bb.  Never heard of her before but I’ll check it out.

Overall this was a really good month for me.  I’m not disappointed in any of the products and I’m so happy there was no fragrance this month!  Yippee!  Keep up the good work Birchbox!
