It’s time for another Birchbox! I missed posting my November 2012 Birchbox since I was pretty much sick all of November. Plus last month’s box was a major let down so I didn’t feel bad not posting it. And let me just start off saying that this month isn’t that great either.
December’s Birchbox is better than last month but I think it could have been way better since it is the month of Christmas. Nothing in the box really spoke holidays to me which was kind of a bummer.
Here’s what I got:
Miss Jessie’s Pillow Soft Curls – a styling lotion for curly hair that is supposed to leave hair soft and light. I have super curly hair so I will definitely try this out. I’m glad that they gave two generous sized packets.
Nuxe Fondant Cleansing Gel – a rose infused facial cleanser for removing dirt, oil and makeup. Not crazy about the rose scent but I’ll give it a try.
theBalm Hot Mama Blush – a peach blush that has a golden shimmer to it. I’ve always been curious about this brand’s blushes so I am happy about this one. It’s a small sample though, about the size of an eyeshadow.
Per-fekt Lash Perfection Gel – a teeny, tiny 0.01oz sample tube of a combination primer, conditioner and mascara in one. I don’t know how much sampling I’ll get to do with this tiny thing!
Extras:
John Varvatos Artisan Fragrance Sample – this is a men’s fragrance so I was a little bummed to get it. Yes, my husband will use it but what about those subscribers who don’t have a husband or boyfriend to give it to?
