Today we’re taking a look at what came in October’s Beauty Box 5. This box came with almost all full size products including a really nice lipstick, nail wraps and more. Let’s take a look at everything.
If you don’t already know about Beauty Box 5, it’s a monthly subscription service that sends five travel-sized, deluxe-sized and full-sized cosmetic products straight to your front door for only $12 per month.
Amlactin Ultra Hydrating Body Cream ($2.99) – Winter is coming and so is the dry skin! This extra thick body cream is supposed to soothe dry skin and eliminate rough, bumpy skin. Fragrance free.
Colour Me Red Fragrance ($?) – A floral and spicy scent that I’m not a fan of at all. Plus the sample packaging is so hard to get open and inconvenient to use.
Chella Ivory Lace Highlighter Pencil ($18) – I received this a few years back in an Ipsy bag and haven’t really used it much so I’m leaving this one unopen to give away. It’s creamy and nicely pigmented. Can be used to line your bottom waterline or to highlight beneath your brows.
Emery + Ivory Custom Nail Appliques ($12.99) – A cute set of pastel and navy nail polish wraps. Cute but I wish they were fall colors. I’ll save these guys for the spring.
Real Her Moisturizing Lipstick in the color I Define Beauty Myself ($18) – This is a really nice creamy, pigmented lipstick in a pretty pink color. It gives opaque coverage and has a glossy finish. Feels nice and light on my lips while keeping them soft as well. Very nice!
Overall this was a pretty good box. Nothing extremely exciting but the full size lipstick makes the box worth while. Total retail value of my products came to $51.98 not including the fragrance sample.
