Today let’s take a look at the March Beauty Box 5. This month’s theme was “Flower Power” to get us primed and ready for spring.
If you don’t already know about Beauty Box 5, it’s a monthly subscription service that sends five travel-sized, deluxe-sized and full-sized cosmetic products straight to your front door for only $12 per month.
Here’s what I got in the March 2016 Beauty Box 5:
Pur-lisse Blue Lotus 4-in-1 Eye Adore Serum ($31.25) – I always love trying new undereye treatments. This one claims to fight puffiness, wrinkles and dark circles. We shall see about that.
Colour Me Sky Blue Fragrance ($?) – A tiny fragrance sample with jasmine and freesia. Smells pretty good but the tiny sample is difficult to open without spilling. Wish it was in a spray sample tube cause it does smell quite good. I’m not usually a fan of floral scents but this one isn’t overpowering.
Glamour Dolls Glitter Eyeliner in Mary Jane ($3.99) – A bright green liquid eyeliner. Not sure when I’d be in need of a green glitter look so I think I’ll pass this along to someone else.
Mai Couture Blush Papers in Sunset Blvd. and Studio City ($1.20) – Blush infused blotting papers that can absorb excess oil while adding some color to the cheeks. Sunset Blvd is a pretty peach color and Studio City is a light baby pink color.
Personail Nail Polish Wraps ($12.99) – I was so excited to see this in my box. I love nail polish wraps so I was eager to try these ones. Sadly they only lasted one day on me before they started to peel off. 🙁 Bummer, cause I really liked the design.
Bonus: Temporary Tattoo ($2) – A cute, fun floral temp tattoo.
The March Beauty Box 5 was pretty good. Even though I was disappointed by the nail polish wraps, the pricey eye serum more than made up for it. The total retail value of my samples came to just over $51.00.
