Today we’re taking a look at my March 2015 Beauty Box 5. To be honest, it’s less than exciting for me personally. I really enjoyed February’s box because it contained many items from brands well-known and loved.
This month we’re back to a box full of items by brands I’m not familiar with nor crazy about. I’ll never find myself repurchasing these things because they aren’t readily available.
If you don’t already know about Beauty Box 5, it’s a monthly subscription service that sends five travel-sized, deluxe-sized and full-sized cosmetic products straight to your front door for only $12 per month.
What was in my March 2015 Beauty Box 5:
Elite Therapeutics Rosemary Eucalyptus Body Cream ($1.19) – Not crazy about this scent at all. It’s really strong and smells mostly like rosemary. Feels nice on the skin though and non-greasy.
Scandalous Thickening Mascara by Nanacoco ($4.99) – This mascara is just ok. It takes quite some effort just to get it to transfer to my eyelashes. I comb and comb it through and not much goes on. What does apply seems to add a bit of volume but no length.
Eslor Introductory Collection Second Edition ($17.91) – I received the first edition in my June 2014 Beauty Box 5 and wasn’t that impressed. I’ll give these a try but not expecting it to blow my socks off. The packets are pretty much each single use so you really don’t get a good idea about the product.
Styli-Style Line & Seal Twist Mechanical Eye Liner in Lapis ($4.99) – A really pretty teal colored eyeliner. It’s very pigmented and nice and creamy.
Laugh Out Loud Lip Gloss by Nanacoco in The Lift ($3.99) – A very pretty coral pink lip gloss with a bit of shimmer. This one is super pigmented and non-sticky.
The retail value of March’s box was $33.07.
