Yes, you read that right. This is a look at my February 2015 Beauty Box 5. To say that I’m a little behind is quite the understatement!
I was going to just skip right over this month, since it’s so terribly late, but there were so many great things in it that I just had to share it with you.
If you don’t already know about Beauty Box 5, it’s a monthly subscription service that sends five travel-sized, deluxe-sized and full-sized cosmetic products straight to your front door for only $12 per month.
What was in my February 2015 Beauty Box 5:
Glam Glow Youthmud Tinglexfoliate Treatment ($6.90) – A single usage packet of the very popular anti-aging mud mask. I’ve tried this before and like it but not impressed by it enough to buy a full size jar.
Revlon Colorstay Nail Polish in Fall Mood ($3.99) – Really pretty shimmery copper rust color. Not something I’ll wear right now but I’ll probably pull it out sometime next fall/winter.
Absolute New York Absolute Love Lip Balm in Bubble Gum ($5) – An adorable tin full of lip balm that gives my lips a hint of pink color. Nice and light on the lips without feeling greasy or sticky.
Avon Big Color Eye Pencil in Natural Vibe ($3.49) – A creamy soft eyeshadow pencil in a light neutral color. When blended out it doesn’t give my lids very much color but it does work well as a base for powder eyeshadows.
Marsk Mineral Eyeshadow in Vanilla Frosting ($22.50) – A shimmery white loose powder eyeshadow. Nicely pigmented but not something I’d use everyday. I think it will work best for me as a topper for special occasion eye looks.
Overall this was a great sample box. The total retail value of the items came to $41.88.
