The holidays are over so what better time than now to treat yourself to rest and relaxation. The theme for December’s BB5 box wanted you to do just that, only I’m a little late to the party. Oh well, better late than never!
If you don’t already know about Beauty Box 5, it’s a monthly subscription service that sends five travel-sized, deluxe-sized and full-sized cosmetic products straight to your front door for only $12 per month.
Here’s what was in my December 2014 Beauty Box 5:
Nanacoco Nail Polish in First Night Kiss ($3.95) – This is a clear base nail polish with bright blue and white glitter in it. Very cute!
Absolute! New York Nail Polish Remover Pads ($2.99) – 32 mini acetone free nail polish remover pads. These smell nothing like polish remover and actually have a very pleasant, fresh smell. They work like a dream! For containing no acetone, I was shocked at how easily and quickly they removed my polish.
Lucky Brand Lucky Number 6 Fragrance – A blend of lotus, tiger lily, cashmere woods and jasmine makes up this floral fragrance. I usually hate floral scents but this smells pretty good. It’s soft and has a hint of baby powder scent to it that tones it down and makes it smell more fresh and clean.
Jaqua BFF Buttercream Shimmer Lotion ($12) – An illuminating body lotion with a sweet orange buttercream scent. Feels nice and light on the skin without feeling greasy. I was worried this would have mega sparkles but is actually very light on the shimmer. It just gives your skin a very subtle glow and a yummy scent.
Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Moisturizer ($10) – An organic facial moisturizer containing fruit oils to reduce wrinkles and hydrate skin. Love the bright citrus scent it has.
Overall I really enjoyed this month’s Beauty Box 5. All together the products had a retail value of $28.94 not including the perfume sample.
