Take a hydration vacation!
That was the theme for the April 2016 Beauty Box 5. With beauty product samples ranging from makeup wipes to a lip pencil to eye gel patches, this was a pretty good month. Let’s take a closer look at everything I received in this month’s box.
If you don’t already know about Beauty Box 5, it’s a monthly subscription service that sends five travel-sized, deluxe-sized and full-sized cosmetic products straight to your front door for only $12 per month.
Here’s what I got in the April 2016 Beauty Box 5:
Global Beauty Care Green Tea Makeup Remover Wipes ($1.99) – I can always use more makeup wipes so I was thrilled to see these this month. I haven’t tried them yet but they smell good and seem very moist.
MaskerAide All Eyes On Me Hydrating Eye Gel Patches ($6.25) – I’m a huge fan of gel undereye patches so I can’t wait to try this one. They are supposed to hydrate, brighten and firm. We shall see!
SoapBox Sea Minerals Body Wash ($0.60) – Made with aloe vera, shea butter and sea minerals. Smells so good. For every full size bottle they sell, they give a bar of soap to someone in need. Very cool.
Chella Passionate Pink Lip Pencil ($9) – A highly pigmented and creamy lipstick pencil in a bright pink color. Goes on smoothly and gives opaque color in one light layer. The Beauty Box 5 card says this is full size but it seems too small to me for $18. I’m guessing it’s about half the size of the retail version.
Jelly Pong Pong Paradise Pigments Lip/Cheek Cream in Fig Jam ($19.95) – This has a very creamy texture and gives great color payoff. A little dab is enough to do both of my cheeks. The color lasts all day on my cheeks as well. Good stuff!
Color me impressed with April’s Beauty Box 5. The only thing that didn’t tickle my fancy was the body wash but that’s only because I’m not a fan of body washes personally. The total retail value of my samples came to $37.79.
Are you a Beauty Box 5 subscriber yet? For a monthly subscription fee of $12, you receive a box of goodies just like this in the mail each month.
I am being sent this subscription service free of charge by the company. All thoughts and opinions are my own and I am in no way being paid for the product reviews.
