Tarte Maracuja Divine Shine Lip Gloss in Blissful ($21) is a light peachy pink color. This color does not contain any shimmer or sparkle. As with all of the Divine Shine lip glosses, it does have a minty fragrance, no taste, and does tingle just a bit. The tingling sensation does go away after a minute or two.
Blissful is pretty nicely pigmented for wearing on its own as well. It goes on nice and smooth with the brush tip applicator. It feels pleasant on the lips and isn’t sticky either. The maracuja oil in this lip gloss is supposed to moisturize the lips but I really don’t get that result from wearing it.
I really enjoy the Tarte Maracuja Divine Shine lip glosses. I love that they give the lips a nice amount of color and I also enjoy the non-sticky texture. However, they are quite pricey so I usually don’t buy them individually. I usually wait to get them in various QVC exclusive collections or in this case, as a freebie I received when I ordered from Tarte.com.
