Summer 2012 brought some really great new shades of the L’Oreal Infallible 24 Hour Eyeshadows ($7.99). Two of the most vibrant new colors are Glistening Garnet and Endless Sea. Both shades are very pigmented and shimmery.
Although all of the colors in the L’Oreal Infallible 24 Hour eyeshadow collection are highly shimmery, I can’t help but love the formula. It’s so silky smooth and feels nothing like a powder shadow. It clings to your eyeshadow brush like a silky cream but applies to the eyelids uniformly like a powder. They are easily blendable and give your eyelids superb color in just a few swipes.
I tend to reach for these Infallible shadows when I don’t have a lot of time to fuss with my makeup. With just one color you can give your eyes a great pop of color quickly. No, they don’t last 24 hours on my oily eyelids but I can get about 8 hours of non-creasing wear with an eyeshadow primer.
I think these two new bright colors are beautiful. Glistening Garnet is a nice blend of deep fuchsia pink and burgundy and Endless Sea is a shimmery teal. I also own Pink Sapphire, Iced Latte, Amber Rush and Golden Sage from this collection. You can see swatches and pictures in the links provided above.
