I think this may be the very first time I’ve ever tried a fiber mascara. But after testing out this new Maybelline Illegal Length mascara($8.99), I’ll be sure to give more a try! Illegal Length contains 4mm fiber extension that grab onto your lashes to give them greater length.
You’ll find both regular and waterproof formulas in the colors very black and blackest black. The regular version also comes in a brownish black. I bought the regular formula in blackest black but will be picking up a waterproof version for summer.
You’ll notice that this mascara brush is very dense and compact. It brushes through my lashes nicely and doesn’t cause any clumping. If you look closely at the brush, you can even see the small fibers sticking out.
I’m really liking this Maybelline Illegal Lengths mascara. It gives my lashes a lot of extra length with just two coats. I don’t have any issues with flaking or smudging either. Loves it!

Buy it! It’s well worth purchasing for the price. Whenever I can get my hands on the waterproof one, I’ll be saving it for summer. I might even buy a back up too if there’s a buy one, get one 50% off sale going on!
