Birchbox – December 2011

I can’t believe this is the last Birchbox post of 2011.  Where has this year gone?!  It’s flown by so fast, in a blink of an eye it feels like.

December’s Birchbox was themed Frolic & Fancy.  It came with a pretty white card with silver snowflakes on it and the tissue paper was glittery white instead of their usual pink.  Very festive indeed!

Here’s what I got:

The POREfessional by Benefit – A lightly tinted facial primer that is supposed to hide unsightly pores.  I already own the full size of this and like it.  Don’t get too excited, it doesn’t hide all of your pores.  It does make very large pores look smaller though.

Jouer Moisturizing Lip Gloss in Birchbox Pink – This tiny tube of lip gloss is in a hot pink fuchsia color.  This color was made exclusively for Birchbox.  This gloss goes on nice and smooth, no stickiness at all.  I was worried that the color would be too extreme but once on, it’s a nice pink color.

Harvey Prince “Ageless” – This fragrance smells very nice.  It’s a light blend of pink grapefruit, pomegranate and jasmine.  Not too much floral and not too fruity, just right.  I like it!

Orofluido – It’s a beauty elixer for your hair, whatever that means.  This hair treatment contains argan, linseed and cyperus oils.  But there’s no directions so I don’t know how to use it.  Guess I’ll have to search out more info online.

Bonus:

Show Stoppers – Double sided tape strips for your clothes.  Prevents embarrasing mishaps, cool.

Eboost – This packet makes a single natural energy drink.  Just add water for an orange flavored boost in energy and immunity.  Contains lots of vitamins, green tea and stevia.  I’ll give it a whirl.

I thought this was a good Birchbox to round out the year.  I’m looking forward to what Birchbox has in store for us in 2012.
