I’ll admit it…I’m totally hooked on QVC’s Friday night beauty. If you’re not a watcher of QVC, Friday night beauty is exactly as it sounds. Every Friday evening starting at 10pm EST, they spend 1 to 2 hours strictly dedicated to new beauty products from great companies like Tarte, Philosophy, Mally, etc. But this past Friday night beauty kicked off 26 glorious hours of ALL beauty products!
One thing that caught my eye was the New Beauty Test Tube. It’s a similar concept like Birchbox but also different in a few ways. Birchbox is monthly whereas the test tube is every 2 to 3 months, if you set yourself up on QVC’s auto delivery. And the majority of Birchbox items are deluxe sample sized, the test tube contains a few full sized items! I resisted for most of Saturday afternoon but then the hubs went to the Steeler game Saturday night and I caved! And I’m actually very glad I did.

The test tube sells for $29.96 plus shipping. And if you compare the prices for each product you can get a sense of exactly what a great deal this is. The 3 full sized products alone are worth $52! And with the magazine that’s almost $62! I’ve already tried the gloss and body butter and love them. The body butter smells and feels amazing and the gloss is a really nice color. I’m super excited to try everything else!
As I’m writing this, the test tube is only available on waitlist on QVC at this time. I recommend you check it out and get on that waitlist! The next shipment goes out in October and I’ll be chomping at the bit waiting to see what comes next!
I always shop QVC and Friday night beauty is one of my favorites. I already use alot of products from Philosophy, Wen, Mally, and Laura Geller. the above mentioned and test tube products I HAVE NOT TRIED. How did I miss this? I went in search…and could not locate this “test tube”. Did it come as an “insider” offer? How can I hook into this…as Lisa says, “love, love, love” QVC
Yeah, unfortunately they are not listed to purchase currently. I bought this first test tube in August when it was on air live on QVC. You had the option to just get August’s test tube or you could choose to get on auto delivery and receive a total of 6 different test tubes. I thankfully chose auto delivery and will get a new test tube periodically, every couple of months, until next year at this time. Hopefully they will go on air again sometime soon.
