Recently I was pleasantly surprised to find that I could start making my own homemade taco seasoning mix instead of using the store bought packets full of preservatives and sodium. So on my continued quest for healthier eating, I decided I’d prefer to be able to pronounce everything in my taco seasoning mix instead of the artificial ingredients found in the packet versions.
I found two different versions of the homemade taco seasoning recipe and chose to combine the two together. This batch of taco seasonings makes a pretty large amount. I stored the remainder of the taco mix in an air tight glass jar and placed it in the pantry for the next taco night.
