L’Oreal Infallible Paints Metallics ($8.99) is a very small line of intensely pigmented powder eyeshadows. There are only 5 colors so far and today we’re looking at Caged and Brass Knuckles.
The packaging is a simple square shape in clear plastic. The shadows themselves are pressed in a textured honeycomb type pattern.
They aren’t kidding when they say that these metallics have high color impact. Cause they do!
One light swipe across the shadows produces intense pigmentation. And the formula is so dang soft and creamy.
They are buttery smooth and blend so easily. Even though they are highly foiled shadows, there is no chunky glittery specks and very little fall out.
Most intense metallics perform best when applied with the fingertips but these L’Oreal ones do good with a brush as well. One light swipe will give your eyelids an opaque layer of beautiful foiled color.
Surprisingly these eyeshadows perform really well on my oily eyelids as well. With the creamy formula, I was expecting that they would crease pretty quickly for me. To my delight, these last all day long with zero creasing.
I’m pretty much in love with this Infallible Paints Metallics formula. These two colors are stunning but the other three in the line aren’t my cup of tea. I’m hoping that they add a few more color choices soon.
