The Colourpop Fem Rosa She eyeshadow palette ($16) is just one piece from a recent collaboration with Karrueche Tran. The palette includes a total of 12 shadows in matte, satin and metallic finishes.
The packaging is slim and compact so it’s perfect for taking on the go. It’s made entirely of lightweight cardboard but there is no mirror with this one.
What attracted me to the She palette is the collection of unique shadow colors. Colors range from light ivory, to peaches, pinks and purples.
All of these eyeshadow colors are nicely pigmented, soft and creamy. They aren’t overly powdery and do not kick up a lot of excess waste. They all blend beautifully as well.
The two darker matte colors, Missy and Damsel, swatch a bit lighter than I expected. When applied to the eyelids though, they give plenty of color payoff.
The metallic colors are amazing! They are buttery smooth and pack a powerful punch of color. As with most extreme metallics, I like to apply these with my fingertips instead of a brush.
I love the unique colors in this Fem Rosa She palette but I can’t use it alone for a full eye look. I still have to reach for other palettes to make a complete look.
That does not deter me from buying these types of eyeshadow palettes. It’s just something to keep in mind.
For the bargain price, you really can’t go wrong with these Colourpop palettes. They make great quality shadows with amazing pigmentation at prices fit for any size budget.
