Ipsy Summer Lovin: July 2015

It may be August already but that doesn’t mean it’s too late to share my July 2015 Ipsy bag.  Unfortunately one of my samples was leaking when I opened it so my bag was pretty wet. Thankfully nothing was ruined though.

The bag itself is a colorful design with teal fabric on the inside.  I received one full sized item, one makeup tool and 3 generous deluxe sized samples. Overall I was pretty pleased with July’s bag.

Let’s look at my July 2015 Ipsy bag contents:

Octavio La Playa Sea Salt Spray ($7.75) – An algae infused sea salt spray for your hair for added texture and volume.  My coarse curly hair needs neither of those things so I won’t be using this one.

Vasanti BrightenUp! Enzymatic Face Rejuvenator ($5.66) – An exfoliating facial cleanser for softer, brighter skin.  Enriched with papaya enzymes for radiance.  I’m excited to try this one out.

Crown Brush Tweezers ($6.99) – Nice generous sized tweezers with a slanted tip.  It’s always good to have an extra pair so I’m glad to have these.

Jelly Pong Pong 2-in-1 Eyeliner and Eyeshadow in Bronze ($15.95) – A nicely pigmented crayon stick in a pretty bronze brown color with a bit of shimmer.  It’s soft and creamy so it applies nicely without tugging or dragging.

Tarte Park Ave Princess Amazonian Clay Waterproof Bronzer ($10) – I already have a sample of this and like it. It is a light colored bronzer though so it may not show up on those with darker skin tones. It works well for my fair skin though.

The total retail value of my samples came to $46.35.  Pretty good for only shelling out $10 for the entire bag of samples.
