Revlon Colorstay Moisture Stains ($9.99) come in an array of 11 very colorful shades. During a buy one, get one 50% off sale I picked up four colors; London Posh, Cannes Crush, Rio Rush and India Intrigue.
I love the sleek square packaging. They are in simple black plastic tubes with a clear bottom that lets you see the actual color of the product. I have to say that what you see through the packaging is actually very close to what you get.
This stain has a very silky smooth texture that has a very glossy finish. All four of these shades are very pigmented and give my lips a very good amount of color. I’m happy to say that these do not feel sticky at all even after a few hours of wear.
The glossy finish does stick around for a fair amount of time even after eating and drinking. When they do finally wear off completely I’m left with some stained color on my lips. The darker the color, the more stained my lips are.
- London Posh is a the lightest shade of the bunch. It’s a neutral nude shade that has hints of peach to it. It also contains a very fine golden shimmer that adds to the peachy look of this color. From far away the glitter is not noticeable and it’s not gritty on the lips either.
- Cannes Crush is a juicy light orange shade.
- Rio Rush is a bright medium pink.
- India Intrigue is a darker fuschia pink color that stains my lips well beyond the next morning.
I’m really enjoying these Revlon Colorstay Moisture Stains. They give my lips so much beautiful color with a comfortable glossy finish. My lips remain soft and moisturized while wearing them and they don’t feel drying at all. If you like pigmented glossy color then these are for you!
