Bought my very first Lipstick Queen lipstick ($22) over the weekend! For the longest time the only place I’d ever seen this brand was on QVC but recently Ulta has started carrying the brand too.
There were so many different shades and formulas to choose from that I kinda got overwhelmed. I narrowed it down to the Saint line which has more of a sheer coverage since it only contains 10% pigment.
I chose the shade Pinky Nude, a nude color with a hint of pink. Even though it’s a sheer formula, it actually is thicker and creamier than most sheer lipsticks. You can wear it with one light layer or build it up for more coverage.
This lipstick feels nice and light on the lips. It has a semi-matte finish with just a hit of glossiness.
The packaging of the Saint line is in bright gold metal tubes. It has a rubberized coating on the outside and it feels nice and substantial.
I gotta say I’m impressed. I really like the formula of this Saint line but I am curious about the Sinner line now too. Sinner has 90% pigment and matte full coverage. I will definitely be looking into more shades from the Lipstick Queen line.
Have you tried this brand yet?
