An affordable gift idea for the 2013 holiday season is the Tarte Thoughtful Treasures Best-Sellers Set ($19). This limited edition set contains three mini sized products:
- Amazonian Clay Blush in Thankful
- LipSurgence Lip Tint in Energy
- Pure Maracuja Oil
I can never have enough of the Maracuja oil in backstock. It’s amazing stuff. I use it every night on my face before bed and it keeps my skin hydrated but doesn’t break me out.
The item that sealed the deal for my purchase of this set is the mini LipSurgence Skintuitive Lip Tint called Energy. I have been wanting to try this for a while now but didn’t want to spend $24 on the full size.
This lippie works with your skin’s natural PH to give you your own custom shade of lip color. It goes on as a very sheer baby pink, almost clear. Slowly it changes to a really pretty medium pink shade for me, I love it!
Tarte does these chubby lip pencils the best in my opinion. They are so soft and creamy on the lips and keep them feeling soft at all times.
I keep trying other versions but when I go back to a Tarte one, I wonder why I ever strayed at all. They do have a slightly minty scent but that doesn’t bother me.
I love that this is just a simple pink with no glitter or shimmer. I will use this probably on a daily basis and will most likely end up buying the full sized one when this runs out.
I love the Tarte Amazonian clay blushers and stupidly think I need to have every color that comes out! This set comes with a new limited edition shade called Thankful. It’s a beautiful pink shade with a slight golden glow.
I say this is a must have for anyone who is a fan of Tarte blush and/or Tarte LipSurgence lip tints and balms. It’s sure to make any makeup lover happy and makes a great stocking stuffer too.
So glad I gifted it to myself, lol!
Available online at Tarte and Sephora.

I had never tried Tarte cosmetics before and purchased this as an “introduction” set. Great minis to include in your make-up bag.

That’s cool Emily! These holiday sets are a great way to try new makeup brands since you get several items to test out at usually really great prices.
