I’m still on a quest for the perfect coral lipstick. Next up is Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Coralberry ($6.99). Coralberry lipstick is in a creme finish with no shimmer, frost or sparkles. I have to say, this is very close to being the type of pink coral I’m looking for.
I haven’t bought many drugstore lipsticks over the past few years because they’re so hard to choose without being able to swatch them first. Choosing a Revlon Super Lustrous lipstick is like shooting in the dark. They give you the tiny window at the top of the tube to go by. And usually colors look way different when you roll up the lipstick. This Revlon Coralberry is no exception.
In the sealed tube it looks way more red than it actually is. When opened and twisted up, it’s more of a deeper pink leaning towards the orange side. On the lips, it’s a glossy pink coral color. This Revlon Super Lustrous lipstick is not terribly opaque. It goes on kinda sheer but you can build it up with a few layers.
If you’re shy about color on your lips, then Coralberry is probably not for you. It is a vibrant pink color. But I really like the amount of glossy shine it has and the non-greasy feeling it gives my lips. What do you think of Revlon Coralberry lipstick? Would you wear it this Summer?
