Today we’re taking a look at August’s Play by Sephora box. Lots of really good stuff this month! So happy to finally have the opportunity to try a Caudalie product as well as one of the Make Up For Ever Artist Shadows. Take a peek with me!
Play by Sephora never disappoints with the fabric bags that everything comes packaged in each month. They are always so adorable and this month’s is no exception!
A look at the August Play by Sephora:
Urban Decay Perversion Mascara ($5.50) – I’ve tried this mascara before and enjoyed it. It gives my lashes a nice amount of added volume.
Lancome Energie De Vie Smoothing and Glowing Liquid Care Moisturizer ($5.20) – This is my first Lancome skincare product so I’m excited to try this out. It’s supposed to relieve dullness and give your skin a healthy glow. It’s very runny, like water, but it smells good.
Caudalie Resveratrol Eye Lifting Balm ($19.87) – Phew, this stuff is expensive! I’ve been dying to try Caudalie products so I was super excited to see this one! Can’t wait to see if it lifts and smooths the eye areas like it claims it will.
Sephora Waterproof Contour Eye Pencil in Flirting Game ($4.25) – A creamy smooth eye liner pencil in a really pretty shimmery taupe color. Goes on so smoothly and is nice and pigmented.
Make Up For Ever Artist Shadow in I544 ($6) – An iridescent eyeshadow in a pinky taupe color. It’s silky smooth and gives great color payoff.
Clean Reserve Blonde Rose Fragrance ($1.44) – Roses, jasmine and peony blend with sandalwood for a light and fresh floral scent. Not a fan of floral perfumes so this is just so-so for me. It’s not too overwhelming.
This is my third month of getting Play by Sephora and I have yet to be disappointed by this subscription service. I still can’t believe that you get all these cool goodies for only $10 a month.
This month’s samples had a retail value of $42.26. Can’t wait to see what next month brings!
