January 2012’s MyGlam bag was only their second month in operation and not surprisingly, they had some issues. Apparently they had some trauma with shipping out the January MyGlam bags so most people’s bags were late. Some people were not even going to get their bags for some reason and were refunded for this month. Luckily I was not one of those unfortunate subscribers.
Again this month’s MyGlam bag was pretty impressive. January’s bag contained two full sized products and two deluxe sample sized items. The makeup bag itself was a really cute cream colored cloth bag with green printing on it.
Here’s what I got:
Freeman Cucumber Peel-Off Facial Mask (6oz) – A full sized bottle of clarifying facial mask. Clean smelling with a light cucumber scent. Smells really good.
Wen Cleansing Conditioner (2oz) – Cleansing Conditioner takes the place of your shampoo and conditioner. It doesn’t strip your hair of natural oils and leaves hair very soft and manageable. I’m already a user of Wen cleansing conditioner so this is a bonus tube for my stash.
Sheer Cover Duo Concealer – Creamy mineral concealer in two shades, light and medium. Seems pretty nice so far.
The Balm Hot Ticket Nail Polish – A full sized bottle of nail polish in the color I’ll Pink To That. Love the color! It’s a bright pink that will be perfect for Spring and Summer. Can’t wait to try it!
Even though MyGlam obviously still has some kinks to work out, I’m still liking their service. Problems for any new business are to be expected so I’m ok with cutting them some slack.
Now if they haven’t ironed things out in 6 months, then people have every right to jump ship. But for now, I’m standing behind them. Because where else can you get all of the above products to try for only $10!
