The new Maybelline Master Precise Skinny Eyeliner ($7.99) comes in three different colors; black, brown and charcoal. The waterproof gel formula is supposed to be long lasting. Let’s see how it holds up!
I usually shy away from black eyeliners because I think it looks a bit harsh with my blue eyes. So I was very excited to see that this came in brown, which is usually my everyday eyeliner color of choice.
This eyeliner has a creamy smooth consistency that easily applies to the eyes without any pulling or tugging. It’s very pigmented by unfortunately this brown is so dark that it actually looks black on my eyes.
I love that it is super fine. It works great for tightlining your upper lash line since you can get into smaller spaces easier. But don’t wind up the tip too much or it will break off since it’s more thin and delicate.
I have very sensitive eyes and I have to avoid a lot of eyeliners that make my eyes burn or water. I’m so excited that I can wear the Master Precise Skinny on my waterline with zero irritation to my eyes.
I’m a big fan of this eyeliner up until you get to the wear time. Unfortunately, this just does not do well with my oily eyelids. I get a ton of smudging and running at the outer corner of my eyes after just a few hours.
