Sugar Coral Tinted Lip Treatment by Fresh ($22.50) is the newest color in their line. Fresh Sugar Lip Treatments are basically tinted lip balms containing SPF15. There are about 6 shades available now running from clear up to a dark plum.
Coral is a peachy pink color less on the orange side than I expected from the look of the packaging. I thought it would be more peach/orange but it’s actually a medium pink on my lips. If you are familiar with the Fresh Sugar Lip Treatments, this coral color is darker pink than the Sugar Rose but lighter than the Sugar Passion one.
I’m already a huge fan of the Fresh Sugar Lip Treatments so this Coral fits nicely in my collection. They give your lips nice moisture like a lip balm, nice shine like a lip gloss and plenty of color like a sheer lipstick. They have a nice light citrus scent but I don’t detect any flavor.
Yes, these Fresh Sugar Tinted Lip Treatments are quite pricey for a lip balm. But I prefer them over a traditional balm any day. They make my lips feel and look much better than the average chapstick. And the stick actually twists out of the bottom so you never have to fear the cap coming off and making a mess in your handbag.
So what do you think of the new Sugar Coral Lip Treatment by Fresh? Being that coral colors are so hot this Spring, is this something you’ll be trying?
