The other day at Rite Aid I noticed a new display of Halloween nail polishes from a company named Bonita. I’ve never heard of that brand before but they were super cheap ($2.49) so I picked up two of the colors.
I know it’s nowhere near Halloween yet but I couldn’t resist painting my nails right away with one of the colors. Eat, Drink & Be Scary is a dark navy blue base with lighter blue shimmer in it. The color is a great fall and winter shade.
So far it’s wearing really well too. I’ve had it on for four days and there’s been very minimal wear on the tips with just one minor chip that I was able to touch up.
The polish went on really nicely as well. It’s nicely opaque with full coverage in two thin coats.
I really like this color. It can look very different at certain times. One minute it looks blue, the next black and at some times teal green.
What do you think of Eat, Drink & Be Scary?
On first look, it looks like a black leathery shade; may be because of the shimmer effect. !
Yeah, it’s definitely not for someone who doesn’t like dark nail colors.
