Today we’re taking a look at this month’s Beauty Box 5. For the January 2016 box, the focus seems to be on hair and nails.
Instead of the usual five, they gave us six total products this month. Half of them are full sized and the other half are deluxe sized samples.
If you don’t already know about Beauty Box 5, it’s a monthly subscription service that sends five travel-sized, deluxe-sized and full-sized cosmetic products straight to your front door for only $12 per month.
What was in my January 2016 Beauty Box 5:
Nails Inc Nail Polish in Sloane Mews ($9.99) – Always excited to get nail polish in these subscription boxes. This is a brand I’ve never tried but have heard good things about. This color is a very dark oxblood red color.
Scratch Nail Wraps ($6) – Clear based nail polish wraps with white and gold designs on them. Never seen this brand before but I do like nail wraps so I’ll give this a go.
Bodipure Keratin Gloves ($5) – Now this is pretty cool! It’s a keratin hand treatment to strengthen nails and nourish the skin and cuticles. Can’t wait to test these out!
Salon Grafix Freezing Hair Spray ($1.05) – A nice travel size bottle of mega hold hair spray.
Not Your Mother’s Plump For Joy ($1.50) – This is a thickening spray for fine, thin hair which is totally opposite of mine! My hair is already super thick and curly so I won’t be needing this.
Novex Bamboo Sprout Deep Conditioning Treatment ($0.48) – A hair strengthening treatment. The packaging is not in English so that’s all I can come up with, lol.
This month was pretty good. Even though I won’t use the hair spray or thickening spray, I like everything else. The total retail value of my samples came to $24.02.
