Last night was date night for the hubby and I.  We hadn’t been to a movie in ages and decided to go after dinner.  I’m not a big fan of going to the movies.  I prefer to enjoy a good movie in the comfort of my own home.  It seems like every time we go to the movies either someone is kicking my chair or people are talking throughout the whole thing.  My husband is the direct opposite.  He LOVES going to the movies.

Our date started at a local Italian restaurant that has kick ass food.  The sauce is so good with chunks of tomatoes and whole cloves of garlic.  It has so much flavor and the portions are huge for a really decent price.  We hadn’t been there in quite a while since my other half isn’t really fond of Italian food.  So when he mentioned that he was craving this restaurant, I jumped at the suggestion.  I myself could eat pasta once weekly.  It was heaven!  I had my favorite, chicken parm, while my husband had lasagna.  I can’t wait for dinner tonight to eat my leftovers!

After dinner we chose to see the movie “He’s just not that into you”.  I don’t know what I was expecting but it wasn’t what I saw.  My husband and I thought it would be like a humorous look into relationships and love.  It was so, so.  Not as funny as I expected so it was a little disappointing.  I guess I expected more because of all the stars that were in the movie.  I wasn’t disappointed by my fellow movie goers though.  A group behind us talked through the entire movie just like I expected.
