Too Faced
New this month is the Too Faced La Creme Color Drenched Lip Cream ($21). This lipstick is available in 16 shades which are a majority of nudes and neutrals with a few pinks mixed in. I chose one of the nude shades, Naked Dolly. Too Faced calls Naked Dolly a satin pink but I consider it more of a nude with a hint of pink.
The La Creme lip cream lipsticks contain lotus flower extract which is supposed to hydrate and condition your lips while power peptides smooth and firm. Sounds amazing right? Well it kinda is. This lip cream does keep my lips smooth and moisturized. It has a softer texture that applies to my lips smoothly without any tugging.

Brand new for Summer 2012 is this colorful Summer Eye Summertime Sexy Eyeshadow Palette by Too Faced ($36). This eyeshadow collection is limited edition and contains nine eyeshadow shades – some neutrals and some vivid summer colors.
I love the outside design of this Too Faced palette with the cool blue water, seashells, starfish and pretty flowers. There’s no way you can look at this palette and not think of summer fun at the beach!
The palette lid stays nicely secured shut with a strong magnet and flips open to reveal your shadows. Unfortunately there’s no mirror but they do hide a pocket in the lid that contains instruction cards for three different looks to try.
As with most Too Faced eyeshadows, these have great pigmentation. They are smooth and silky and in no way chalky. Here’s how Too Faced describes each of these awesome summertime sexy colors:

- Cocoa Beach – plum brown shimmer

I think this Summer Eye palette is so much fun! I love that they didn’t go crazy with just nine bright and bold unwearable colors. Having all the neutrals there too makes it so much more versatile. Even once summer is over, you can still get plenty of use out of this palette.
I will say that these eyeshadows are more on the shimmery side. So if you’re not fond of shimmery eyeshadows then this Summer Eye palette may not be for you.
