Phew, that is a mouth full! If you follow any international beauty bloggers or vloggers then you’ve more than likely heard of the Rimmel Wake Me Up line. It’s not been available in the states yet but makeup enthusiasts in other parts of the world rave about it.
I recently took a swing through the makeup section of my local K-Mart and was shocked to see something from that line in the regular Rimmel display. They had this Wake Me Up Anti-Fatigue + Radiant Glow Concealer ($4.99) but not the foundation. I’m hoping that’s coming soon cause I’ve heard such great things about it.

Rimmel Berry Rose Moisture Renew Lipstick ($5.50) is a beautiful berry color with a glossy finish. It’s very similar to the L’Oreal Rambling Rose lipstick that I recently reviewed but a touch darker. When swatched on my hand, Rambling Rose appears a bit more red while this Berry Rose looks more pink. But once on my lips, they’re almost exact colorwise.
I love the texture of the Rimmel lipsticks. One of my favorites is the Kate Moss #14, which is a great nude color. They’re nice and smooth and very light on the lips. For such a light texture, they have great color payoff. I also love the finish of Rimmel lipsticks. They have a nice glossy finish that looks really nice on. Plus it eliminates the need for any added lip gloss on top.

Rimmel Lasting Finish lipstick #14 ($4.64), from the Kate Moss collection, is a beautiful nude color. With only 5 colors available in the Kate collection, there’s not many options to choose from.
I was immediately drawn to this nude color though because it isn’t just a fleshtone color. Kate #14 is more of a nude with hints of brown and pink. The color doesn’t just wash out your lips, it gives you a hint of color while still being nude.
This lipstick formula is quite nice. It goes on smoothly with a nice amount of opaque color. It feels soft and creamy on the lips without feeling dry. I get average wear from this lipstick with a need to reapply after drinking or eating. It’s not a long wearing lipstick and will need touched up often.
I purchased my Rimmel Kate lipstick at my local Target and for less than 5 bucks, it was definitely a good purchase. I’ve been wearing mine with my YBF Modern Mauve lip gloss on top. I love the combination!
