Physicians Formula must have had someone just like myself in mind when they designed this Happy Booster Glow and Mood Boosting Illuminating Bronzing Veil ($13.95). I was immediately drawn to the adorable tiny hearts and couldn’t not buy it! As you can see, this bronzing powder is formed in the shape of small light bronze and golden colored hearts.
To apply the product you simply swirl your brush over the hearts to collect a nice dusting of powder. The plastic packaging itself is pretty large so I was a little disappointed by how few hearts there actually are inside. There are only about 18 hearts in the entire thing. Most of the inside of the compact is taken up by a large pink powder puff and a brush.

New for Spring from Physicians Formula are two beautiful Cashmere Wear Ultra Smoothing Blushes ($12.95). So soft, smooth and luxurious that they are supposed to feel like cashmere. I don’t know about all that, but they are pretty.
These Cashmere Wear Blushes come in brown felted square boxes that open like a book. I love that they have magnetic closures so they stay closed tight when not in use. The front contains your blush while the back also opens up to reveal a blush brush and mirror. So convenient!
Physicians Formula Cashmere Wear blush is available in two colors, Natural and Rose. Natural is a peachy pink color with a strip of dark pink running through it. When swirled together, you get a light peach flush with a natural looking glow.
Rose is a beautiful bold pink color with a strip of light pink. When this one is swirled together, you get a shimmery pink color. You can wear this one as light or as bold as you’d like.
I really hated to use these Cashmere Wear blushes at first because I didn’t want to destroy the pretty design. But once I tried them, I enjoyed seeing them on my cheeks rather than admiring them in the box.

I don’t know about you but I could always use an extra boost of happiness! Now we supposedly can get one from the Physicians Formula Happy Booster Lipstick ($8.99). I’ll admit, I saw the pretty pink box with it’s promise of happiness and I bought it hook, line and sinker. I’m a sucker that way.
And once you open the package and look at the lipstick itself, you can’t help but smile. It’s so cute with two rings of pink color surrounding a tiny heart in the middle. I was kinda sad to even use it and mess up the design. 
This “glow and mood boosting lipstick” comes in only two colors; I “heart” Rose and I “heart” Nude. I’m always attracted to pretty pinks so I bought the rose one. I thought it would be a deeper pink color but it’s actually a bright opaque pink. I will admit, the color does look happy on the lips.
According to the outer package, the glow comes from the lipstick’s luminous shine while the mood boosting comes from natural plant extracts shown to promote happiness. I get the glow part because this Happy Booster lipstick is very shiny on it’s own, without any gloss. But unfortunately, I don’t necessarily feel happier when wearing this.

I "heart" Rose
That doesn’t mean that I don’t like the Physician’s Formula Happy Booster Lipstick. I actually think it’s pretty nice. The lipstick is highly pigmented, goes on nice and smooth, and is very glossy. It also has a sweet violet fragrance to it.
The only minor problem I see with this lipstick is the tube itself. At first glance it looks pretty cool but you’ll soon realize that you have to make sure you wind down the lipstick the whole way before replacing the cap. And the cap has to be on a certain way because of the slanted top. Not a biggie to me but could be bothersome to others.
Final Thoughts:
You’ll love this Happy Booster lipstick if you like bright pink opaque lipsticks. It may not physically make you happier but the color alone with brighten your spirits. It’s a perfect little gift for your favorite Valentine this year too!
Physicians Formula new Kohl Kajal Eyeliner Trio ($10.95) caught my eye with it’s unique shape. The claim that they are 100% waterproof and will help create dramatic eyes is what finally sold me. Even though I have blue eyes, I bought the set for brown eyes because I liked those colors. You get Espresso (chocolate brown), Purple and Black.
I was expecting great things from these kohl kajal eyeliners but ended up pretty disappointed. Before I get to my complaints, let me share what claims Physicians Formula has printed on the back of the box.

They look and sound great right? So what’s the problem? They provide intense color right? Not so much. They’re highly pigmented? Not really. High performance? Nope. Smooth gliding? Not at all.
With the Physicians Formula kohl kajal eyeliners I found that you really had swipe the eyeliner several times to get any kind of “intense” color. Usually with a kohl eyeliner, one swipe and you have dark rich pigment. You get dark pigment with these but only after about 3 -4 passes.

I also had a hard time applying this kohl eyeliner without tugging at my eyelids. They’re definitely not creamy and do not glide right on. In fact when I was trying to test the brown one, I was applying more pressure to get it darker and the tip snapped right off! And I can only assume that will happen to all of them eventually.
That leads me to the shape of the eyeliner itself. I’m confused with how you would use these to their complete ends. Once that finer tip wears down, you have no way of sharpening it again. That would make it kinda impossible to use.
As far as wear, mine wore off on my waterline within 4 hours and the rest smudged like crazy. That to me does not equal waterproof high performance.
Final Thoughts:
Unfortunately the Physicians Formula kajal kohl eyeliner trio was a major fail for me. I really am left with nothing positive to say about these except for their neat look. I will be returning mine asap.
