This week I went teal with my nail polish choices. I started off with Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear in the color The Real Teal. This is a beautiful teal green shade with blue/green shimmer in it.
After going through my collection, I realized that Julep Harper matches The Real Teal perfectly! I decided to add this glitter polish to both of my ring fingers. Harper is gorgeous! It’s a blue, teal and gold glitter that looks like it was made to pair with this Sally Hansen color.

This week I’m wearing one of Orly‘s Summer 2013 nail polish shades called Pretty-Ugly. Not sure why they would put the word ugly on anything this beautiful! I love this light turquoise blue shade with lots of shimmer in it. It reminds me of the sun reflecting off blue inviting ocean waters.
What do you think of Orly Pretty-Ugly? Anything but ugly right!?
The other day I posted the contents of my April 2013 Julep Maven box and this was one of the nail polish shades I received. Isn’t it awesome! I love the bright sunshine lemon yellow color. I’ve gotten so many compliments on this one in just a couple days of wearing it.
Julep Abbie is a cream shade with no shimmer or sparkle. The formula on this one was a bit thick and goopy but I just took my time applying it. I applied two thicks coats and it evened out nicely.

After many disappointing months with Birchbox, I decided to go back to the My Glam bag which is now Ipsy. It had been almost a year since I got my last My Glam bag but I’d been following their progress and noticed that they were sending out much better bags since I was last subscribed. So I cancelled Birchbox and decided to give Ipsy another try.
I have to say that the April 2013 Ipsy bag was impressive. For the $10 subscription price, everyone received 3 full sized products and one deluxe size sample. The three full sized products were all shades of pink which I love!
