I picked up two of the Milani Color Statement Lipsticks ($5.49) the other day, Plumrose and Flamingo Pose. This is a brand new collection of lipsticks consisting of 30 different shades in total. The entire collection is available on the Milani website but my local CVS didn’t have nearly all of them in the store.
A ton of other beauty bloggers were sent the entire collection a few weeks ago so I had seen tons of swatches way before I actually found them near me. The majority of the shades are very bold and therefore not what I usually go for. However, Flamingo Pose just spoke to me and I knew I needed to at least try it.

Milani Corallina Baked Blush ($8.29) is absolutely beautiful. In fact, it’s almost too pretty to use. I love the way all the colors are swirled together like a pretty painting.
Corallina is a gorgeous blend of peach, coral, tangerine and cream colors. When swirled together they produce a really nice coral color more on the orange/peach side. This baked blush does have some sparkle but not enough to make you too glittery.

Milani baked blushes are nicely pigmented and wear well too. You can apply them with a heavy hand for more color or you can apply them light and blended out for a more flushed appearance.
I’m in love with this color! I also own Milani Fantastico Mauve and Rose D’Oro but this one tops those two. It’s bright and sunny and the color just makes me happy. What do you think of Milani Corallina? Would you wear this color blush?
Left: heavily swatched, Right: light and blended out

There is just something about baked and marbled beauty products that draws me in like a moth to a flame. The varied colors are always so pretty and hard to resist. And that’s exactly what drew me to these Milani Baked Blush ($6.99). I decided to try two of them, Fantastico Mauve and Rose D’Oro.
Fantastico Mauve is gorgeous in the pan. It’s a dusty mauve base with swirls of bright pink, purple and white with tiny flecks of golden shimmer. Once blended it becomes a deep rich mauve. A little goes a long way with this one. And the tiny golden flecks give it a beautiful shimmer without looking glittery.

Rose D’Oro is a bright peachy rose color with swirls of gold shimmer. The gold is definitely more prominent in this blush. I love the color of this one, it becomes a really pretty deep peach but the gold is more noticeable. They aren’t huge flecks of glitter but you will notice it more than with the Fantastico mauve. Not sure why they named this Rose D’Oro though, I think it’s much more peach than rose colored.

For the price, I’m really digging on these Milani Baked Blushes. They are very pigmented and go on nice and smooth. I was worried that they may be dry and chalky but they aren’t. They blend on my cheeks very nicely.
