Pastel shades are all the rage for Spring 2013. L’Oreal recently released their limited edition Versailles Romance Collection which included 6 new shades of their Colour Riche Lip Balms. The beautiful pastel colors sucked me in and I ended up buying two shades, Provence Romance and Laze In The Maze.
If you’ve ever tried any of the L’Oreal Balms before then you know they can be pretty shear on the lips. This goes for these two new shades also. They feel great on the lips though, they’re nice and light. You get a good amount of shine with these and they keep my lips soft and not dry feeling.

Maybelline Baby Lips Moisturizing Lip Balms are made with shea butter and vitamin E. They come in 6 permanent shades and have recently released 5 limited edition shades. I finally came across the limited edition shade Coral Crush.
When I think of the color coral I usually think a nice blend of pinks and oranges. Coral Crush however is basically orange in color. It even has an orange citrus scent to it. That’s not necessarily a bad thing but it wasn’t what I was expecting.

Today I’m showing you another product from the Flower cosmetics line from Drew Barrymore. It’s the Lip Service Lip Butter ($6.98) we’ll be taking a closer look at today. There are 9 different shades available and I picked up two to try, Haute Honeysuckle and Wispy Wisteria.
Let’s first talk about the packaging which is a bit big and bulky. It’s definitely not something that you could slip discreetly into your pocket. The tube is a bit wide and flares out on the top and bottom. The lids are colored to match the shade inside making it a bit hard to gauge the actual color of the product before buying it. I had to just take a stab in the dark and hope the color was remotely close to what the lid showed. As it turns out, the colors aren’t an exact match but pretty close.

I finally took the plunge into the Korres lip butter pool with this amazing Korres The Lip Blockbuster Volume II ($39) set. I’ve heard so many great things about these lip butters so I just couldn’t pass up this 6 piece set.

You get 3 squeeze tubes of the Lip Butter Glaze in the shades Jasmine, Raspberry and Wild Rose. Jasmine is a light pink nude, Raspberry is a berry shade and Wild Rose is a red color.
