Fall Favorites From Bath and Body Works

bath and body works fall candles

Candles are my thing.  As I type, I have three burning throughout the house.  And since I work from home, I’m burning candles every single day.  So as you can imagine I go thru quite a lot of them.

My newest candle obsession are scents from Bath and Body Works.  I am in love with the four that I have now so I wanted to share them with you.  My absolute favorite is the Creamy Pumpkin.  Oh so good!  It’s a buttery pumpkin scent with hints of sweet caramel.  Mmm, smells good enough to eat.  LOVE it!

My second favorite would have to be the Apple Crumble.  The tart smell of apples mixed with spices and some buttery vanilla.  It’s so good and the apple scent is so strong.  I love apple scents in the fall and this one’s a keeper!

Freaky Halloween Finger & Toe Cookies

ogre toe halloween cookiesI just happened to be looking over the Halloween goodies on Etsy when I came across these kooky cookies.  Halloween Delights has two designs to choose from.  Monster ogre toes and witches digit fingers.  Really!?  Oh yeah.

The cookies look incredibly real!  They are made of shortbread with an almond as the place of the fingernail or toenail.  Ewww!  I could totally see sneaking these next to someones tea or coffee cup while waiting to watch their reaction.  Or they are a perfect addition to your Halloween party.

witch digit halloween shortbread cookiesNot only are the cookies cool, but Kim has taken the time to package them creatively too.   Your cookies come nestled in a clear plastic box surrounded by cheesecloth.  There are many quantities to choose from including a single cookie for only $2.00 plus shipping.  Don’t delay though, they’re only available til the end of October.

Hop on over to Halloween Delights to give these ghoulish cookies a gander…

Fabulously Festive Fall & Halloween Soaps

pumpkin patchOn a quest again for all things pumpkin, I came across more wonderful handmade soaps.  What caught my eye first was the very original scent names that are given to the soaps.  Not your traditional scent names, Mad Hatter Soap Co. has taken the time to come up with creative and fun names for each scent.

Of course, I was immediately drawn to the scent “Midnight in the Pumpkin Patch”.  But a few other Halloween scents intrigued me too.

How about “Endora’s Elixir” :

A spellbinding brew of green tea and bergamot peel mellowed with a dash of coriander, a pinch of marshy mugwort, and stirred lightly with a birch broomstick.

Or some “HobGoblin” :

A tall goblet of pale-green absinthe sweetened with the tiniest drop of candied apple and topped with a grim layer of mischievous black licorice.

Piping hot gingerbread, spiced orange cake, vanilla, and brown sugar molasses baked with the Imp’s own blend of mischief and mayhem.

If these scents sound interesting to you, don’t delay.  They are only available for a limited time.  If fall and Halloween scents aren’t your thing, there are many other everyday scents to choose from.   I can’t wait to see what’s on tap for Christmas scents!

Felt Handmade Halloween and Fall Hair Clips

candy corn hair clipsWith the neighborhood kids back to school, fall is upon us and Halloween is quickly approaching.  Fall is by far my favorite season here in Pennsylvania and I’m always searching Ebay and Etsy for new pumpkin decor.

Late last night, I was sorting through pumpkin stuff on Etsy when I came upon some adorable handmade felt hair clippies by Shining Stars Boutique.

These felt hair clips come in a variety of designs, shapes and colors.  So many super cute ones to choose from!  I was especially drawn to the fall and Halloween ones.  I don’t have any kids but if I had a little girl, I would buy a ton of these!  The handmade hair clips range in price from a mere $3.50 up to only $8.99 for the hair clip sets.

Besides just clipping these directly onto your hair, you can also clip them onto her interchangeable headbands which work great for toddlers or little girls.
