The bag for the April 2015 Ipsy bag is by far the cutest one they’ve had. It’s an adorable straw bag in various colors that just screams summer. Not only is the bag super cute, the goodies inside aren’t that bad either!
This week I’m wearing Essence Colour & Go nail polish in the shade Where Is The Party. Judging by my pictures, it just looks like a nice purple color right? It is, but it’s also a duochrome which you can’t tell by my pics. It’s purple most of the time but when the sun hits it just right or from certain angles it looks green.
Love this one! Especially since Essence polishes usually cost about $2!
To coordinate with the Essence Coralize Me! lipstick, I picked up this beautiful sparkly lipgloss. Essence XXXL Shine Lip Gloss in Sparkling Papaya ($1.99) is a really pretty peachy coral color with lots of tiny specks of pink glitter. And it smells so good! Like fresh peaches, mangos and of course, papayas! The color and scent just scream summer to me.
The pink sparkles in this Essence lipgloss definitely provide a ton of shimmer without being too noticeable. They reflect the light in a nice subtle way. The lipgloss feels nice and smooth, not too gritty like you get with some sparkle glosses. And it’s not sticky at all.
Sparkling Papaya lip gloss doesn’t offer great color payoff which I wasn’t expecting anyway. It just gives your lips a sheer wash of peachy pink color with tons of glossiness. With the sparkles in it, it does give creamy opaque lipsticks some great XXXL shine though. It’s very much worth trying for just 2 bucks!
Essence Coralize Me! lipstick ($2.49) is a beautiful shimmery pink coral color. And for that kind of price, you can give it a try without feeling guilty. Now that’s my kind of purchase!
I found Coralize Me! at Ulta in the Essence makeup display. The bright tube caught my eye and when I popped it open, I knew I had to buy it. And once I spotted the bargain price, I was sold.
The lipstick itself is very sheer but still gives a good amount of color to my lips. It glides on smoothly and provides a bit of glossy shimmer. I like the way it feels on my lips too. It’s nice and light and reminds me a lot of the Revlon Lip Butters.
Overall I’m really excited by this Essence Coralize Me! lipstick. It’s unlike any coral lipstick shade I have. It just gives my lips a soft pink coral color but can be amped up a bit with a light pink or peach colored lip gloss on top.
And let’s face it, wouldn’t you rather spend your $3 bucks on a nice lipstick rather than a cup of coffee? I know I would! I think this sucker will be going in my purse as my “out on the go” lipstick for this Spring and Summer.
