NYX English Rose HD Studio Grinding Blush

I’m a huge fan of NYX cream and powder blush. I have several shades in both formulas but this is my very first NYX HD Studio Grinding Blush ($15). As you can see, they are pretty pricey when compared to their other blush formulas. However, I got English Rose in a NYX set on HauteLook a few months ago and am now just getting around to trying it out.

There are a total of 8 blush shades available:

  • American Girl
  • Apricot
  • English Rose
  • Georgia Peach
  • Menage A Trois
  • Nutmeg
  • Sangria In Madrid
  • Terra Cotta

NYX Glow and Natural Cream Blush Swatches

I recently picked up two shades of the NYX Cream Blush ($5.99) at Ulta; Glow and Natural.  Glow is a medium pink with a mauve tone to it while Natural is just a light pink shade.  There is a total of 12 shades to choose from in all.

These cream blushers are very moist and almost wet to the touch.  They apply easily with just your fingertips or a small stippling brush.  Use a little to start out with though cause they are very pigmented.  A little goes a long way but you can easily build up as many layers of color as you’d like.

Flower Shimmering Goddess Blush and Bronzer Duo

So this is the third and final item I purchased from the Drew Barrymore Flower cosmetics line.  I already reviewed Haute Honeysuckle and Wispy Wisteria lip butters and the Peach Blossom cream blush from the line.  Today we’ll take a look at the Flower Ready, Set, Glow! Blush/Bronzer Duo ($9.98) in the shade Shimmering Goddess.

These duos come in your choice of 4 different colors combinations.  In each duo there is a different shade of blush and bronzer.  I picked Shimmering Goddess because I liked the blush color the most and the bronzer didn’t look too dark for my fair skin.

flower peach blossom cream blush

As you may know, Drew Barrymore recently released her Walmart exclusive makeup line called Flower.  I scoured high and low to find a Walmart closest to me that had it displayed in the store.  Of course none of the stores right near me carried it yet so I had to travel a bit to find it.  You can buy the products on the Walmart website but most of the items I wanted to try were out of stock online plus I wanted to see them in person first.

The first product I want to talk about is the Win Some, Rouge Some Cream Blush ($7.98).  These little cream blush pots come in 6 different shades, I chose Peach Blossom to try.  They come in a nice compact square container with a flip top lid.  The cream blush portion itself is about the size of a quarter.
