Butter Crumble Apple Pie Recipe

Butter Crumble Apple Pie

Nothing says fall to me more than a warm apple pie right out of the oven.  I don’t know why but I prefer a nice crumble on top rather than dough.  Usually I do a dutch apple pie but realized I didn’t have any oats on hand.

Each yummy dumpling uses only 1/4 of the pie crust and only half of an apple.  With only two apples, you can have a really tasty dessert for 4 people!  To go with the dumplings, there is a nice sugary sauce that I did not take a picture of.
