These new Jordana Twist and Shine Moisturizing Balm Stains ($2.99) are awesome! These chubby wind up sticks come in 8 different shades. Here we are going to take a look at 5 of them; Nude Chic, Candied Coral, Honey Love, Cranberry Crush and Terra Crave.
These do have a very light fruity scent to them but nothing too strong. They’re nice and creamy and easily glide across the lips. I’m extremely impressed at how pigmented these are for the price. Nude Chic is the lightest of the ones I purchased but it still gives my lips a nice amount of color.
The finish on these is very shiny which eliminates the need for a gloss on top. They feel silky smooth on the lips and keep them feeling soft also.
These are called balm stains and they actually do leave your lips stained when it wears off. Since Nude Chic is a little lighter on pigmentation, it doesn’t leave very much color behind. The darker the color you’re wearing, the darker the stain that’s left behind.
For the quality of these balm stains, I can’t believe they are only $3 each! I was not expecting much from these but I have been blown away by them instead.
Each one contains 0.095 oz of product as compared to the Tarte LipSurgence lippies that contain a touch more at 0.10 oz for 8 times the cost! That means you could buy all 8 colors of the Jordana Twist and Shines for the price of one single LipSurgence!
As you may suspect, I highly recommend these! With the holidays just around the corner, I’m thinking these would make an amazing gift idea. I’m thinking a cute mug filled with all 8 shades or just toss a few in a stocking.

I picked three of these up today. I have been wearing sweet pink for a couple hours now and although the lip balm is gone the colour is still there. These are amazing! And highly pigmented.

Ahhh, sweet pink. One of the ones I did not pick up but I bet it will find its way into my collection eventually, haha!
The shimmer in Nude Chic looks so enticing.
It does have some glitter in it Sandy. Just wanted to note too that when Nude Chic wears off you may be left with some minor glittery specks on the lips though.
Ooh good to know. Might have to skip it then since I already have horrid lines in my lips.
It was the one thing about that shade I did not like. It’s not a ton of glitter but I do get a few specks of glitter stuck to my lips.
